BLOODY SIGN

BLOODY SIGN
France’s BLOODY SIGN has always utilized haunting melodies to convey an unparalleled thirst for blood and brutality. Now, with Explosion of Elements, the band takes their blackend-death sound to sickening new heights.

BLOODY SIGN was formed in 1995 with a vision of playing pure unabashed blackened death metal. They released four well-received demos independently that included Nocturnal Moans of the Fallen Angel (1997), Dionysos contre le Crucifié (1998), Primitive Horde (2001) and Estonian Sessions (2002). After various lineup changes the band finally solidified and dedicated themselves to their sinister cause with a new found vigor. The group signed a deal with IBEX MOON RECORDS and soon released Vana Vigala Loïts (2004). Rave reviews followed, as well as several festival appearances, European tours and a tour of South America. Some of these included shows with such bands as IMMOLATION, BEHEMOTH, INCANTATION, CENTURIAN, CRADLE OF FILTH, IMPALED NAZARENE and INHUMATE.

After a successful tour with label mates ESTUARY in 2006, BLOODY SIGN entered the studio to record their second blood-opus, Explosion of Elements. The result is a raw mixture of crushing death metal and sheer oppressive black metal darkness. With a European tour already lined up with death metal gods VITAL REMAINS and label mates DENIAL FIEND, only good things await this unholy cult. Fans of IMMOLATION, PESTILENCE, BELPHEGOR and IMMORTAL take note; evil has a new name!
